  1. My husband has been suffering with arthritis in his hands so much so that he could hardly bend them. He took 3 drops of Frankincense in a gel cap twice a day. It took about a month and a half before he could open and close his hands without the stiffness and pain. I use the theory try frankincense or Lavender oil if nothing else works.

    • In the other recipes you’ve noticed, we’ve actually tried to keep the baking soda (which works great with Castile soap) separate from the vinegar. This is because baking soda is really alkaline and vinegar is really acidic. When you mix the two together in similar proportions, they sort of cancel each other out and both become a neutral pH and basically act as water would. This recipe, however, has a lot more baking soda than vinegar so they can both be used together without neutralizing each other.

If you are worried about it, simply leave out the vinegar and use a vinegar/water “polishing” spray after cleaning with the scouring scrub. The vinegar is useful for cleaning up any scum the soap may leave behind.
