EO Life Hack: “Empty” EO Spray Bottle

Do you have an almost empty essential oil bottle, but you just can’t seem to get the last couple drops out? Make it into a freshening spray! Simply remove the cap and orifice reducer, add a couple drops of an emulsifier (such as Castile soap, vegetable glycerin, Epsom salt, or witch hazel), fill with distilled water, and screw on a small spray top. Shake to combine before using. Use as a body spray, air-freshening spray, linen spray, etc.

EO Life Hack: Label Residue Remover

Have you ever been frustrated while trying to remove label residue from something? Well, lemon essential oil is coming to the rescue! Easily remove unwanted label residue from glass (including your old EO bottles!) by placing a couple drops of lemon oil on the residue and rubbing it off with a finger. Wash with warm soapy water when finished. You’ll be surprised at how easy this is!

Note: Don’t try this on a plastic product; lemon oil can actually eat away at the plastic.
